In eBECAS version 9 we provide the facilty to send email directly from within eBECAS.
eBECAS needs to connect to and use a centralised email address, that agents, students and provider partners will recognise emails as being sent from your College.
Please go to eBECAS - Main - Utilities - Setup Configuration - Setup - Email
Please enter:

Please enter your host, port, username, password, from email address and bcc email address (to recieve a copy of the email sent).
The areas you can now send an email from is Offers and Enrolments.
From the Offer details, you have the option to send an email:

Sending an email is generally AFTER you generate the merged pdf letter of offer. Save the pdf locally and then select the file to attach to the email.

You can select who you want to send the email and attachment to: either the local and or other stduent email address, and agent email address.
You can also update the diary, when you send the email, with category, subject and notes.
Similar to the Offer, the send email option is available from the Stduent Enrolment details:
